Check-in times:

Passengers must check in at least 45 minutes before departure. If you are checking in with a pet, you must arrive at least 90 minutes before departure.

Poole is linked by the A31 to the M27, and from there to the M3 and London. Head south on the A350 from Bristol, and east on the A35 from Exeter. Once in town,  head into the town centre and then follow signs for the port.

Poole railway station is about a 30-35 minute walk away from the ferry terminal.

Dogs on a lead are allowed in the port area but not inside the terminal building

Once past the security check point, dogs cannot leave your vehicle.

The nearest parks outside of the port are Poole Park (8 minutes drive/38 minute walk) and Hamworthy Park (3 minutes drive/19 minutes walk).

There are no charge points at the port but there are some charge points in and around Poole. You can find more charging points across the UK.

You cannot leave your caravan in the port car park.

For early morning sailings and late-night arrivals, you can park your caravan or motorhome overnight in the vehicle check-in lanes for £15. Your vehicle is parked at your own risk and should not be left unattended. No port facilities are open overnight.
