Overlooking the sea, Les Mouettes is just 2km from the glorious long sandy beaches of Carantec, a lovely coastal resort with holiday activities, watersports and boat trips on offer. The site is well laid out with 475 pitches and has a fabulous heated pool complex at its heart complete with giant waterslides and a lazy river which will keep the family entertained for hours. There is also a separate water playground with cannons, geysers and paddling pool for younger children. Other facilities at Les Mouettes are numerous and include a heated indoor spa centre, cinema and children’s clubs as well as an excellent entertainment team in season for both daytime activities and evening entertainment. This is a great complex for a family holiday and with so much to do you may find it difficult to venture outside and discover what else the area has to offer.

Carantec is a lovely family holiday destination especially for those who love the beach and with at least 7 to choose from you’ll be spoilt for choice. It overlooks the Bay of Morlaix and its intriguing tiny islands which you can sail around in summer, and at low tide you can cross the walkway from the harbour to Ile Callot, a beautiful island of dunes, sand and coves. Nearby places to visit include Morlaix (12km) which has a spectacular viaduct, some beautiful medieval buildings and a Thursday market or St Pol de Léon (10km), another typical Breton town with cobbled streets and inviting shops and cafés.
