Travelling as a foot passenger

• Follow the signs to the Brittany Ferries 澳洲幸运10十168体彩开奖网 terminal building and go to the Brittany Ferries 澳洲幸运10十168体彩开奖网 desk where we will ask you for your booking reference and all necessary travel documents (valid passports, inoculation certificates and visas…)

• You'll be given your boarding card

• If you've booked a cabin or seat, the number will be on your boarding card, which also acts as your cabin key

• The code for the onboard Wi-Fi is also printed on this boarding card

• You can use the terminal facilities if there is time to do so. Please listen out for any announcements for passengers to board the ferry

• When boarding starts, please make your way to the boarding gate with your boarding card and passport ready for further inspection

• Security checks take place after Passport Control

• Random spot checks are carried out at security so please cooperate with the officials

• On passing through the security area, you will be directed to a bus which will drive you to the foot passenger gangway. In some of our ports, there will be a short walk from the terminal building to board the ship

• Some of our ports do not have lifts to access the ship and require you to walk up a ramp, an escalator or some stairs, please contact us if you have any mobility issues

• Please note that we do not provide assistance to foot passengers with their luggage between the ferry terminal and the ship. We recommend that you limit your luggage to a maximum of two pieces of luggage weighing 20kg per crossing

How foot passengers access our ships depends on the facilities at the port you are travelling from

• The time on board is always UK time (all departure times are quoted in local time to the ports)

• On each deck there are detailed ship plans on the walls to help you locate your cabin or seat

• There is an area on each ship where you can leave larger items of luggage

• There is an Information Desk on each ship located on deck 6 or 7. Our bilingual staff will be happy to assist with any enquiries

• To familiarise yourself with the facilities, the location of your cabin and onboard safety instructions, ship guides can be downloaded on our website.

• Relax and enjoy the onboard experience!

Travel tip! Soap and towels are supplied in every cabin. For overnight sailings without a cabin there are public showers on our ships and we sell Sleep Packs on board.

There is plenty to do whilst on board, especially for children, with a host of fun activities including indoor playrooms, outdoor areas and even cinemas and swimming pools on some ships. You can find out more about the onboard experience on each of our ships by taking a look at our ship guides. The name of the ship you are sailing on will be shown on your travel documents.

• We request you leave your cabin 30 minutes prior to arrival ensuring that you take all your belongings with you

• On overnight sailings you will receive a wake-up call approximately 60 minutes before arrival
