Close to the town centre and overlooking the sea and Les Sept Iles - one of the largest bird sanctuaries in France - the Hotel les Costans is in a picturesque location right alongside the marked GR34 walking path. In town there is a marina, a casino and a Friday market, and there are various summer festivals. This is also a great place for rambling or cycling as the popular GR34 Sentier des Douaniers footpath winds along the clifftops from Trestraou beach to the tiny fishing village of Ploumanac'h.

Just across the bay is the Sept Iles archipelago, a beautiful bird sanctuary which you can visit by boat.
