Lovely semi-detached property for two adjoining a house to rear. This is a great location in a quiet part of Bayeux with restaurants and shops just a 200m walk away. The city's famous tapestry and magnificent cathedral are nearby too (1km). Coast and lovely beaches, 9km.

Cosy lounge with inset fireplace, sofa bed, tv and dvd player. Fitted kitchen/dining area with mini-oven (no full size oven), microwave, dishwasher and French window to terrace with garden furniture and bbq. Wc. 1st floor has 2nd wc, small shower room and a double bedroom with king size bed and steep, ladder type stairs to mezzanine (clothes storage, wide ballustrades). Travel cot and high chair (on request). Walled and shaded garden full of flowers with 2 sun loungers to relax in. Parking in small car park opposite gite with a permit obtainable from the owners.

Towel hire 8€ per person. Optional end of stay cleaning service 42€. Electric heating and utility charge metered. Firewood 15€ per load. Pets not accepted.

The best way to discover Bayeux is to take the little tourist train which runs daily accompanied by a 35 minute English commentary. The D-Day landing beaches Omaha and Gold (Arromanches) are only a short drive (9km).
