This detached stone cottage is in a quiet setting adjoining the English speaking owners' grounds and surrounded by fields where sheep and cows graze. There is a footpath from the gite to the centre of Romillé (400m) where you'll find shops, a bar, a restaurant and a Thursday market. Access is via 10 steps to the entrance. Lounge with woodburner, tv and dvd player. Kitchen/diner with microwave. Washing machine under stairs. Wc. 1st floor has shower room and a twin and double bedroom. Travel cot, high chair, stairgate and baby bath. Lovely large garden with fruit trees, loungers plus a small shaded patio with furniture and bbq.

The pool - 8m x 3.5m and with a constant depth of 1.5m. Safety cover. Heated, open June-September and shared with owners.

Optional end of stay cleaning service 50€. Heating 9€ per night. Utility charge metered. Pets not accepted.

Domaine de Trémelin (23km) has a tree adventure park and a lake for swimming, canoeing, kayaking and pedalo hire. Rennes (23km) is a great city and is definitely worth a visit. With its old town of medieval streets, one of France's largest Saturday markets and an excellent selection of interesting museums where you can while away many an hour. Or simply people watch while enjoying a drink on one of the many café terraces.
