One of the most popular and charming resorts on Finistère's southern coast, Bénodet is a lovely destination at any time of the year. This picturesque yachting resort is on the Odet estuary where the main attraction is the lovely Trez beach and its many activities including a children’s club and watersports. There are other smaller beaches and rocky coves around including Pointe du Coq, only 150m from the Hotel Cornouaille, where, due to its position, it catches the very last rays of the day's sunshine. The surrounding countryside here is beautiful too and a delight to explore by foot or bicycle.

For a great day out head up river to Quimper, famous for its pottery, or visit the scenic Iles de Glénan, often referred to as 'Breton Tahiti' due its expanses of white sand. The islands lie about 16km off the coast and boat trips leave daily from the harbour in summer.
