Las Suites de Puerto Sherry, Puerto de Santa María

The fabulous Las Suites apartments overlook the picturesque marina in Puerto Sherry, a small suburb of Puerto de Santa María. A colourful development of traditional houses stands to one side beyond which is a small secluded beach (200m) and a small grocer's shop. On the other side you'll find the yacht club and a large hotel as well as a couple of restaurants.

The 33 luxury apartments are spread over 4 floors and each has a huge terrace overlooking the marina from where the beautiful sunsets and rises are second to none - the higher the floor, the better the view which is reflected in our prices. Furnished to a very high standard in white and grey tones, the accommodation is both spacious and attractive and provides every home comfort and more.

The manager speaks good English and is very keen to promote the surrounding area so please do speak with him for holiday advice and suggestions. Also, if you like golf he can arrange this for you on the local 9 hole Vistahermosa course. There is plenty of free parking, a lift, and free Wi-Fi is included as well as a weekly clean and change of linen and towels . There is also a daily waste collection and maintenance service.  Pets not accepted. A deposit is payable on arrival by credit card.

Puerto de Santa María

Puerto de Santa María is probably best known for being part of the famous sherry triangle, but there's lots more to this relatively unknown resort. As well as several lovely beaches it also has a pretty old town and a number of interesting buildings and attractions including a fabulous castle, a cathedral and the 2nd largest bullring in Spain after Seville.

It is also well placed for visiting other parts of the region including the sherry centre of Jeréz, the relatively new resort of Novo Sancti Petri, Seville and Cadiz - you can drive to the port and park and then take the ferry for only 6 euros return.

Costa de la Luz

Little known by the British but a popular year round destination for the Spanish, the Costa de la Luz faces the Atlantic Ocean west of Gibraltar all the way up to the mouth of the Guadiana river just past Huelva. Otherwise known as the Coast of Light it is a fabulous coastline home to historic towns and laid back resorts where unspoilt fine golden beaches are often backed by pine trees instead of the high rise developments typical of neighbouring Costa del Sol.

Here you will find some wonderful places of interest including the beautiful old city of Cádiz - a favourite port of call for cruise liners; Jeréz, probably the most quintessential of all Spanish towns and famous for its sherry, dancing horses and flamenco; Chiclana de la Frontera with its dolls and wine bodegas that produce wonderful dry whites and muscatels; horse racing on the beach at Sanlúcar de Barrameda and charming Puerto Santa Maria which, along with Jeréz and Sanlúcar, forms part of the sherry triangle.
