The spacious bedrooms, some of which have shower/wc as opposed to bath/wc, are in both the main house and more modern annexe and have a fridge, microwave and the means to make a drink or light snack. Additionally there is a games room plus a lovely conservatory breakfast room in the pretty garden which has children's swings and a slide. Pet welcome (in bedroom only) 10€/night.

The fishing port and popular summer resort of Llanes is one of the region's most attractive and welcomes not only foreign visitors but also many Spaniards who choose to holiday here. And its not hard to see why. It's a great place to stay or use as a base for exploring the wider area and has lots to see and do. There are stunning clifftop walks (Paseo de San Pedro has great views) and plenty of sensational beaches and coves along this coastline as well as the 2 actually in town - Playa San Pedro and Puerto Chico. The town itself is quite compact and has a medieval old centre and some pretty impressive architecture. There are many tapas bars and cidre houses as well as good restaurants, most of which specialise in seafood and fish dishes caught fresh that day. The port is where you will find one of Llanes' most iconic landmarks - Los Cubos de la Memoria - colourful giant concrete blocks that were designed by a renowned Basque artist to create the breakwater.

If you fancy a day out or a change from the beach, there are so many gorgeous little villages in the area to discover including Buelna, Cue, Andrin and Nueva. This region also has a vast network of marked walking and cycling trails.
