Travelling with your family to France or Spain

There is so much to keep kids entertained on our ferries that you shouldn't have any problems keeping them occupied! There's also seasonal children’s entertainment where they can get involved in all sorts of fun activities and maybe even meet our mascot Pierre le Bear! For older children, download our Ferrynauts app for adventurers aged 7-14. Don't worry about rumbly tummies either as children's meals are available in all our restaurants.

We've made travelling with a baby as comfortable as possible on our ferries. You will find baby changing facilities, microwaves in our restaurants to heat up baby food, and play areas for little ones. You can book a cot in your cabin for a charge or bring your own (but bear in mind that space is limited so you'll need to check the dimensions). We also offer a limited number of bed guards for young children sleeping in the beds so please ask at the information desk if you would like one. We advise booking a cabin on daytime sailings so that you have somewhere quiet for you and your baby where you can settle them down for a nap away from the busy public areas of the ship.

We recommend you take an easily foldable, lightweight pushchair or stroller for use on the ferry such as a YOYO. This is because there is limited space when you get out of your vehicle in the garage, in the lifts when travelling between decks and in your cabin. A small stroller or pushchair will also make it much easier to get around when exploring the ferry.

Infants aged three and under travel for free on our ferries. If you wish to rent a cot to go in your cabin there is a charge for this, however, you are welcome to bring your own travel cot but you must check that it will fit in the cabin as space is limited.
