Saint-Malo and Guillaume de Normandie promise to offer an enhanced onboard experience, tailored for the routes they will serve.
Thanks to years of planning and learnings, each ship will offer several new and varying features, designed specifically for their routes’ - and customers’ - needs. From dining and entertainment to cabin types and lounges, they are not only the most efficient, but the most comfortable ferries in our fleet.
But, before we share each ship’s highlights, they do also share some great similarities.
For example, both have a wide-open deck space and sun terrace for all to enjoy. For little sailors and explorers, our outside play areas are a great way to burn off some energy, whilst parents and grandparents relax under the terrace.
For the more active adults, there’s an outdoor exercise area on deck 10. The fitness trail features a range of apparatus to keep you trim while you travel. No gym membership required! Or, of course, you could swerve the exercise and just sunbathe with a cocktail of sea spray!
There’s a different type of exercise area on deck 7. This one is reserved for four-legged passengers. Those who have booked a kennel or a cabin for their pet can walk their dog there, enjoying conviviality with other owners and their best friends.
The outside decks are perfect for getting some fresh sea air
Driving on board, you’ll quickly discover that both new ships offer a more spacious and accessible garage area. Spread over three decks, parking spaces are wider to accommodate modern cars, with room to spare; making it easier to park and move around with bags, and all.
From the garage, four lifts serve all decks, along with six wide, easy to navigate staircases.
The Portsmouth-St Malo route has always been a popular choice all year-round.
An overnight outward sailing, with a convenient evening departure time, this route offers the perfect opportunity to get your holiday off to a great, and relaxing start. Whether it be enjoying a delicious meal in one of our restaurants, a drink in the bar, or reveling in our evening entertainment. Or simply, getting the kids fed and to bed at a reasonable hour.
Whatever your preference, you can be sure to enjoy your time on board Saint-Malo.
Delicious oysters are just some of the highlights in Saint-Malo’s CClub Lounge
When it comes to dining, Saint-Malo has a choice of three restaurants to discover, with each catering to all tastes and budgets: Le Littoral, is our relaxed brasserie-style restaurant; Le Jardin, a new exciting concept celebrating our farming history with seasonal produce (picked from the fields of our very own farming shareholders) combined with sustainable and local meat options.
And last, but not least is the CClub Lounge, a must for those who love our famous buffet and à la carte service – and the main highlight we want to share more with you here...
Devised exclusively for Saint-Malo by our Catering Manager and top Chef, Patrice Pantalini, the relaxed CClub Lounge is a pre-bookable lounge and restaurant. With just 100 seats (making booking essential) it offers diners a special gastronomic experience with a sea view (overlooking the bow of the ship), and menus tailored to the time of day.
Dinner in the CClub Lounge on overnight sailings includes a refined buffet with highlights such as oysters, along with an array of delicious hot and cold starters and sumptuous main courses, followed by cheeses and French desserts. All accompanied by a fine wine list.
You can also choose to have breakfast here – also pre-bookable - and enjoy a hearty cooked English breakfast, served alongside our famous buffet of fresh pastries, cured meats, cereals and more!

A chilled-out atmosphere can be found on deck 7 at La Plage.
Inspired by the gorgeous sandy beach, Plage du Sillon, that stretches in front of the medieval ramparts of the town Saint-Malo, ‘La Plage’ is a wonderful open and comfortable place on board for all to enjoy.
Some will play cards, darts or Breton shuffleboard; others will read quietly or simply contemplate the beautiful expanse of high sea. There’s even the chance to catch up on emails, thanks to optimised Wi-Fi – and perhaps a refreshing smoothie from the snack bar in summer. Or hot tea in winter.
Relax with a spa treatment in our wellness room
Or for those looking for an extra special treat, on Saint-Malo, you’ll also find a Wellness Room; a dedicated spa-inspired cabin with sea view and a beautifully calming Celtic soundtrack – from our musical partner Carlos Núñez - to help take you on a sublime sensory journey.
Created in partnership with Phytomer, a leading spa and cosmetics brand ‘Made in Saint-Malo' – and a benchmark in the world of beauty care for over 50 years – you can enjoy a range of treatments, combining their amazing formulas, derived from carefully selected, natural marine ingredients – originating mainly from the west coast of France.
At the heart of the ship, adorned in the colours of the Breton flag, under a stunning panoramic glass roof, the Breizh ma Bro bar. Seated at bar or in spaces around, you will soak up the warmth and fraternity – the hallmarks of Breton hospitality.
Here, you’ll find a multi-functional stage area where you can enjoy live entertainment, mini shows for the kids, plus a dedicated teen area – a space to be used for activities such as silent discos, group games and creative workshops.
Sailing to and from France up to three times a day, including daytime and overnight crossings, Guillaume de Normandie offers some great spaces and experiences to enjoy, for all.
From breakfast, lunch and dinner, Guillaume de Normandie is ready to serve with an exciting choice of dining – for all tastes and budgets - including: Riva Bella, our French brasserie-style restaurant serving a choice of delicious seasonal dishes, featuring local produce; Le Jardin, a new concept inspired by the markets of Normandy, featuring seasonal produce alongside sustainable and local meat options.
Tuck into tasty dishes made from fresh, locally-sourced produce
Looking to treat yourself? Something completely new for this route is the CClub Lounge.
Open during daytime crossings at the bow of Deck 8, the CClub Lounge is an exclusive bookable space for just 100 guests – simply add to your ferry ticket. Here you’ll enjoy a bright, yet cosy, peaceful space with a sea view and a welcome worthy of a VIP. It offers delicious hot dishes at lunchtime, and a buffet of sweet and savory snacks throughout the sailing. It's the perfect spot to curl up in an armchair and relax – maybe with a glass of something chilled from the bar?
For early arrivals, the Café du Port will be open serving freshly baked croissants and pains au chocolat, alongside your morning tea, coffee or juice – so you can hit the road with out any delay.

The hub for any sailing, by night, or day, Les Planches bar offers a welcoming space. Take a seat under the glass roof, with its design inspired by the half-timbered houses of Normandy, and let yourself be carried away by the infectious energy of the singers, musicians and magicians performing on stage in the large central hall. Here the sun gives the bar a glorious daytime ‘by the beach’ feel while, in the evening, the subdued lighting offers the perfect setting for some cosy late-night entertainment.
Here you’ll also find a dedicated multi-functional stage area for a mix of entertainment and group and creative workshops – like dancing, games and workshops.
On the port side, another small room offers more peace and quiet in the evening, allowing you to relax in complete tranquility during daytime crossings.
Kids will love the onboard entertainment like our silent disco
