EXPERIENCE ITINERARY

On your journey to St-Quay-Portrieux, drive through St Brieuc, Erquy, Frehel and along the Emerald coast.

For a true Breton experience, we recommend a crêpes cooking lesson at la Crêperie du Port. During a memorable pancake workshop, Géraldine will help you get the hang of your bilig and rozel (galetière and spatula); if your first "krampouz" (pancake in Breton) is a bit of a flop, don't panic - you'll be allowed to try again!

After your lunch, drive through Erquy and Cap Frehel to enjoy some of the stunning coastal landscape of Brittany. Before staying overnight in Dinan, enjoy a Breton Afternoon Tea in Les Bonheurs d’Eléonore, a wonderful and cosy place to relax.

Dinan, possibly Brittany’s most beautiful and well-preserved medieval town, features a magnificent viaduct and enchanting old streets leading down to the river Rance.

In the morning, enjoy a Seaweed and local produce cooking lesson. Your ‘chef’ Maud will lead the session; you'll discover the wonders of vegetable-based cuisine using the best local and seasonal ingredients, sourced in Brittany. She is passionate about working in harmony with nature, not just for the good of the earth, but also our bodies and soul.

In the afternoon, use your free time to visit St Malo and its surroundings. A splendid walled old-town with rampart walks, St Malo has a great choice of shops, restaurants and sandy beaches. Close by, there are lots of villages and towns to discover. Cancale is a fishing port (famous for oysters) and seaside resort, very popular for seafood restaurants serving the freshest of fish. Take the coastal road towards Dinard to cross the fantastic dam, Barrage de la Rance.
