Winter sun holidays 2025 / 2026 in the Costa de la Luz, Spain

Little known by the British but a popular year round destination for the Spanish, the Costa de la Luz faces the Atlantic Ocean west of Gibraltar all the way up to the mouth of the Guadiana river just past Huelva.

Otherwise known as the Coast of Light it is a fabulous coastline home to historic towns and laid back resorts where unspoilt fine golden beaches are often backed by pine trees instead of the high rise developments typical of neighbouring Costa del Sol.
