Burgundy

Renowned for its fabulous wines, Burgundy is a region of vineyards, châteaux and excellent wine cellars that is covered in lots of cycling and walking trails so you can explore the charming countryside of these fertile lands.

Legendary wines and cuisine specialities, together with scenic countryside, medieval villages and fine cities, all help to make Burgundy a delight.

Although rich in history and heritage with Romanesque churches, châteaux and abbeys it is the world famous wines that are Burgundy's greatest ambassadors.

Sample some at the numerous cellars or follow one of the great wine routes of France passing through villages with well known names such as Mâcon, Fuissé and Chablis.

Take your bicycles with you and explore the beautiful countryside along marked trails, on country roads and through the Morvan Regional Park where you can also try rock climbing, watersports or just relax and take in the stunning scenery.
