About Liberation

Liberation is a modern and efficient high-speed trimaran which entered service in March 2015, the first of its kind to sail in northern Europe. During the summer months, Liberation will operate a high-speed service to France and will carry up to 195 cars and 850 passengers between Portsmouth, Cherbourg and Poole.

On board there's space to relax and the freedom to move about the ship. Comfortable seating, bars offering a selection of wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks, a bistro serving appetising hot and cold snacks, children's TV room, Wi-Fi (chargeable) and duty free shopping make Liberation an enjoyable and convenient travel experience; perfect for those who want to enjoy the many benefits of travel by sea with a swift and easy sailing to beautiful Normandy.

When reserving your space on Liberation you’ll be offered a choice of two seating options. Airline-style seats with generous leg-room or at-table seating are included with your fare (these do not need to be booked in advance). For that extra comfort and style, we also offer Club Class – a private lounge in relaxing surroundings with luxury leather, reclining at-table seats, complimentary tea and coffee plus newspapers.
